This new update is horrible. Half Brick converted their game into a scummy business formula that has been plaguing the gaming industry for the last years. I have better games to play that focus on entertainment rather than money.
Edit: Jetpack Joyride has been reverted to its original pure form. Some suggestions. I have been able to enjoy this game for years to come, so thanks for making this game, half-brick! Jetpack Joyride used to be a fun and simple skilled-based game.
Now, it is buggy, convoluted, and an obvious, aggressive cash grab by the devs. The game has several problems now that it did not have 5 years ago. Furthermore, if ever I pause the game and close it, my progress is no longer saved as it once had been years ago. I used to like this game and am willing to revert my review back to five stars if these issues are properly addressed and resolved in the near future.
It's a fun game to play and has a unique gameplay. You can beguile yourself with achieving high score or finishing challenges! Jetpack joyride has fun items to collect BUT There are many costumes to buy or unlock with SAM boxes, i mean who needs this much clothes for a game that the character is that much small and while running it gets even harder to see!!!!! On the other hand c'mon i mean the game is about jetpacks, it should have more of them,,, and when you talk about fantasy jetpacks the thing that comes in mind is a soda, right?
They should work much more on jetpacks Every time a new update comes i pray to see these especially soda thing! Tthe other thing is challenges, they are frustratingly repetitious, i mean how many times should one touch those red light, at least halfbrick should include brand new challenges for example breaking the floor lights
